The Best of 2008!

A full year has flown by and I haven't updated our blog once. I totally dropped the ball on it. I will make it my resolution for 2009 to be more diligent. Here's the Best of 2008!

Haley's 8th birthday was a fun one! She had her 1st slumber party this year. (I have vowed not to do that again for a few years!) It went smoothly though, all things considered.

I had the pleasure of being introduced to an astounding product called Juice Plus+ in May. It's 17 fruits, vegetables and grains in a capsule! I love that I have found a job that is fun and exciting and I get to help educate people on nutrition! I am having a blast with this new adventure!

Alyssa had a fun 6th Birthday. She decided to have a karate party. She loved being able to cut her cake w/ a samarai sword. She also broke a board w/ her fist. She was quite proud of herself.

Summer Fun!

our friends Andy and Gabriel

The girls are really enjoying their dance classes. Last year was jazz and tap. This year they're taking on hip hop. They're amazing little dancers and I love living vicariously through them. ha!

Haley is in 3rd grade this year. She loves history, science, astrology and of course, her technology classes. It's funny because she has already decided that she hates math. (She's definitely her mother's child)
Alyssa started 1st grade and made the transition to full days with ease. She loves art and math.
I decided that instead of the normal cheesy school pictures, that I would take them myself. I was quite pleased w/ the results. They're beautiful!

Halloween 2008
The girls talked Jason into wearing his "big fat" costume again this year. They think he's just hilarious in this. Alyssa decided to be SuperGirl and Haley was Daphne from Scooby Doo. They made a killing Trick or Treating. (Too bad I threw 75% of it away;-)

After over a year of trying to grow out their hair. The girls decided to chop it off. I love their new short do's. They look so grown up.
